Quintum Tenor VoIP switches and gateways integrate easily into existing PBX and IP networks offering transparent deployment, and connectivity of legacy analog, modem-based devices and fax machines to IP networks. Dynamic call routing and universal dial plan assure easy integration.
Survivable Tenor provides survivability for remote office SIP phones if the IP network fails. Tenors also integrate legacy analog devices, and provide PSTN connectivity for local presence and emergency services.
Tenors now offer a unique Unified Communications Proxy (UCP). The new embedded UCP enables Tenor to provide ‘any to any’ connectivity between the Unified Communications cloud, the PSTN, TDM equipment and SIP VoIP equipment. Also, the UCP offers the ability to deploy multiple gateways off of a Microsoft mediation server, allowing you to connect analog gateways and branch offices, IP PBXs, IP Phones and legacy VoIP equipment into the UC cloud. Emergency service calls, such as 911 in the US, can also be directed via the gateway, either directly to the local PSTN, E911 or the UC network.
Quintum offers the Tenor Hybrid Gateway 60, a single box solution with an integrated Tenor gateway and Microsoft Mediation-ready capable, simplifying the interface with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007. The Tenor easily integrates legacy and IP-based PBXs, analog endpoints, fax, modems and provides connectivity to the Public Switched Telephone network (PSTN).
Quintum Tenors come in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet real-world VoIP infrastructure requirements and reduce TCO.
The new Tenor Hybrid Gateway supports a Microsoft Mediation Server with Quintum’s award-winning Tenor VoIP Gateway. This single box solution simplifies VoIP deployments for Microsoft Unified Communications, and reduces the total cost of ownership.
The new UC Proxy enables intelligent connectivity of SIP and legacy telephony analog endpoints to the unified communications cloud, and supports branch office survivability for standard SIP endpoints.
More intelligence means greater flexibility With its MultiPath Call Routing, the Tenor can intelligently switch calls between the PBX, the PSTN, and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, allowing it to be adaptable to various configurations. The Tenor can also route calls over IP to reduce costs, and then transparently "hop off" to the PSTN, to reach off-net locations.
More intelligence means easier installation With its MultiPath architecture, the Tenor is the only VoIP solution that can be installed with minimum modification to the existing voice network. Tenor connects to the data network through a 10/100 Ethernet interface, and to the enterprise and public voice network through a T1, E1, or PRI interface.
More intelligence means easier deployment The Tenor Hybrid Gateway is integrated on an enterprise-class Intel (R) SR-1500 (1U) server with Intel Quad-Core Xeon processors. This single box solution contains a Tenor DXi VoIP gateway, and is ready for your Microsoft Unified Communications mediation server software to be installed.
More intelligence means lower total cost of ownership The Tenor Hybrid Gateway 60 provides a unique Unified Communications (UC) Proxy that enables the Tenor gateway to access a full range of telephony endpoints to connect to the unified communications cloud. Tenor’s UC Proxy also offers the ability to deploy multiple gateways off of one server, and to connect branch offices, IP PBXs, IP phones, and legacy VoIP equipment. The UC Proxy also recognizes fax calls and sends them directly to fax machines. Tenor integrates them all into the enterprise UC environment.
Field-proven reliability for integrated applications Based on field-proven Quintum technology, the Tenor Hybrid Gateway provides a powerful, reliable integrated solution to bridge the gap between Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and the legacy telephony world.
