Simon Wilson is responsible for Nortel’s Enterprise Data portfolio in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Simon leads the team responsible for developing and communicating the product and solutions strategy, educating the Nortel Sales Force and Systems Engineers, and ensuring Nortel’s Enterprise Data portfolio meets the specific requirements of Nortel’s EMEA customers.

Having worked at Nortel for ten years, Simon has vast experience in both network design and electronic engineering and marketing. He has led the EMEA product marketing team since November 2002. Prior to this, Simon worked in North America focusing on Nortel’s Ethernet Switching products. He began with Nortel in the UK in 1997 as a Technical Account Manager in the channel partner organization. Before Nortel, Simon worked in other market-leading companies such as Shiva and Westcon.

Simon achieved a BTEC in Engineering from Croydon Technical College. In his spare time, Simon enjoys running and watching motor racing, and is married with two children.
