Charlie Wade holds leadership responsibility for Nortel’s Enterprise Product Marketing Organisation in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Covering Nortel’s extensive Unified Communications, Voice and Voice over IP, Data Infrastructure, Security, Contact Centre and IVR and SMB portfolios, he is responsible for product marketing, product management, developer partner and solutions introduction functions.

For the past 12 years, his career has been dedicated to the development and leadership of product management and sales support teams in the EMEA region. As director of Enterprise Voice Solutions he was responsible for leading the transition of the business from traditional voice communications to VoIP and Unified Communications. Prior to that as director of product management & research and development for Contact Centre products, he was responsible for the development & introduction of Nortel’s Contact Centre portfolio into EMEA. He has extensive first hand experience of market issues and customer requirements across the EMEA having worked in the UK, the Netherlands, France and Ireland.

Charlie joined Nortel in 1985 and has since fulfilled a variety of roles of increasing responsibility and seniority. These include technical engineering support, software development and the management of regional field support.
