Mark Swendsen relocated to the UK in 2007 to take up the role of managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Leveraging his extensive knowledge of ShoreTel’s enterprise IP telephony solutions, Mark is spearheading ShoreTel’s growth in EMEA. Specifically, Mark is focused on working closely with ShoreTel’s partner ecosystem to achieve world-class customer satisfaction across the region.

Prior to taking up this position in Europe, Mark was regional director for ShoreTel’s West U.S. region, where he sold and managed many of ShoreTel's largest and most successful accounts including City of Oakland, CNET, Bank Of Hawaii, Robert Half International and Old Republic Title. Mark also largely recruited and trained ShoreTel’s West and Southwest teams, as well as recruiting and training the majority of ShoreTel’s partners in the region.

Mark joined ShoreTel from Ketchum Integration, where as president he became ShoreTel’s first value added reseller and for three years running was the company’s no.1 channel partner by revenue.
