Joining Velofone in 2006, Colette brought almost twenty years telecoms experience to the Velofone Team. Previously she was Sales Director, EMEA for Nuera Communications, the leading manufacturer of ‘Carrier Grade’ VoIP gateways to Cable Operators and Traditional Telcos. During her career she has held senior positions with a range of innovative telecommunications solutions providers, including Dataflex, Digitalk and IT & T.

Colette has delivered solutions to many of EMEA’s leading Telcos including Incumbent PTOs, Cable Operators and Next Generation Network Operators. She has been at the forefront of the development of SIP based solutions, including being responsible for the design and delivery of some of the first SIP based networks in Africa and the Middle East as early as 2000.

Since joining Velofone Colette has been pivotal in developing the range of products and services it is now offering. Her extensive experience of designing and building ‘Carrier Grade’ networks has ensured that Velofone have a robust, resilient, scalable network capable of supporting millions of users whilst the delivery of solutions for SMEs has allowed her to draw on her previous experience at IT & T, which was a very successful provider of PBX solutions to the SME and Corporate Market in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

Colette’s background means that she looks at the technical aspects of solution delivery from a business perspective, and can therefore ensure that the services and technology are tightly aligned with the customer objectives. She is also able to offer expertise across the spectrum from initial strategic planning right through to solution delivery.

Colette has spoken at industry seminars in Europe and will be making regular contributions to industry press in the coming months.
